Camila Alejandra Martinez
Philosopher, Yogi, & Founder of The OJO Project
Camila is a movement artist, philosopher, and yogi who guides each class as a living conversation between breath, body, and story. Trained in Pranayama, Hatha, and Mythosomatic modalities, she weaves breath, movement, and mid-flow reflection inviting students to close their eyes, feel what moves within, and rediscover their inner rhythm.
Bilingual and bicultural, Camila seamlessly moves between English and Español, honoring Austin’s rich tapestry of voices. Her practice is grounded in yogic philosophy, nervous-system science, and the poetic imagery of nature’s seasonal cycles. Every flow becomes a verse: mantras meet mudras, herbal tea punctuates pauses, and curated playlists echo the heart’s quiet truths.
With over a decade of journeying within—participating in workshops, retreats, and virtual breath circles, Camila’s classes are more than workouts. They’re rituals of reclaiming agency, making the unconscious conscious, and celebrating presence as a creative art form. When she’s not on the mat, you’ll find her journaling by candlelight, experimenting with new tea blends, or composing the next OJO essay on Substack.
